Cosmic Horror Monthly is a magazine specializing in cosmic horror and weird fiction published by Randolph Literary Press. It was founded by Charles Tyra in 2020. Jolie Toomajan currently serves as chief editor. We love short fiction here and while we recognize H.P. Lovecraft’s monumental contributions to literature and the coining of the term: Cosmic Horror, we absolutely disavow the personal views he held and shared during his lifetime.
What is Cosmic Horror, you ask? We have an entire article that answers that question by our chief editor. Cosmic horror is a broad term used to describe a special kind of fear that tends to accompany the discovery of one’s true and insignificant place in the unfathomable vastness of the universe. Put simply, it is the fear of the unknown and with any luck, it is a sensation you will find on a monthly basis in the pages of our magazine.
